Please store long weapons (such as bokken,
jo, bo, and suburito) in a horizontal position to reduce any
possible warping.

Do not leave them in direct sunlight.

To restore shine, simply wax with neutral
wood wax (such as the red colored floor waxes) using a slightly
damp soft cloth, leave for 5 minutes, then buff with a dry
soft cloth.

To repair scratches, sand with very fine
grade sanding paper (600 to 1000) or 240 grade metal sanding
paper, then wax to finish.

To repair small cracks, sand the area with
very fine grade sanding paper and collect the sandings. Place
the sandings in the crack and seal with some transparent colored
super glue (such as Loctite). Wait to dry and then sand the
area with very fine sanding paper. Wax to restore shin

Because all weapons are custom-made,
they are made-to-order and therefore require 2 to 3 weeks before
the weapons get to you. However, we do our best to get it to

Customers are responsible for any importing
costs (such as import taxes, brokerage fees, etc.) Please find
out with your government for exact costs of these fees, and
make sure that the item can be legally imported. We cannot refund
products confiscated by customs.
Warranty
Although ironwood is one of the 3 densest
wood in the world, wood is still wood, and depending on usage,
will fracture or crack eventually, just like any other kind
of wood. As long as you use your weapon normally (meaning you
use it on other wooden weapons in regular practice, and not
on steel, concrete, etc.), the weapon will last you many years.
However, if the wood severely warps or cracks due to climate
changes within 90 days of your receipt (based on UPS tracking),
we will replace your weapon free of charge. You will be required
to send a few photos of the damage of your weapon, one close
up, one at regular zoom, and perhaps another of a different
angle, before we can send you the replacement (shipping and
handling will be covered by us as well). Please expect slight warping in the Jo and Bo. Like the other weapons, we only replace warping in these items if they are severely warped.
